Andrew Foote is a highly awarded opera singer with a diverse career as both a solo and ensemble singer, orchestral musician, executive mentor and coach, computer programmer and pipe organ builder.
Andrew received a Helpmann Award for Best Male Performer in a Supporting Role in an Opera in 2010, and was a Helpmann Award Nominee in 2009.
As Head of Vocal Studies at the UWA Conservatorium of Music, Andrew is passionate about teaching music and voice. He is responsible for devising and delivering the vocal program in a unique and personal style that has proven highly effective with his students, resulting in many nominations for UWA and UWA Guild Teaching Awards.
Andrew is currently researching a Doctor of Musical Arts on the topic of paramusical aspects of solo voice recitals.
